Will The Last Trip Be A Round Trip?
By Glenn Melton

Some believe that those who make up the righteous dead at the second coming of Christ will be brought back to earth with Jesus, at which time Jesus will begin an earthly reign. Thus concerning the righteous dead it is thought that their trip will be a “round trip”: they have gone to be with Christ and He will bring them back to earth again, at which time he will begin an earthly reign?
Read carefully the following passages regarding the return of our Lord:
Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; John 5:28; 1 Corinthians 15:24-28; 2 Peter 3:10-12; John 14:1-3.
Do these passages sound as if Jesus will bring the righteous dead back to earth and reign? Absolutely not. Death is a “one way trip.”
