Those Who Endure Will Be Saved
We are told in Revelation 21:7 that “He that over cometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”
How wonderful it is to know that if one remains faithful and obedient to God, He will be their God and you will be His son/daughter. To remain one with God (1John 2:16-17, 24) one must overcome worldly ways (John 16:33) just as our Lord and Savior did. One can overcome if one applies oneself (2 Tim. 2:15). However it is assuring that we have others to help when we fall short. Paul tells us in Gal. 6:9-10 not to lose heart when we grow weary but do good to all men especially Christians.
There are many things in our life we worry about. We worry about the needs of our family, health problems, close friends, our jobs, how our children are doing in school and in sports, and many other things. We need to stop worrying about tomorrow; today is difficult enough to live (Matt. 6:25-32). We worry about our worldly personal needs, not our daily spiritual needs. God already knows what we need so why worry? Let us live our life as God wants us to (Matt. 6:33-34).

Let us take our minds off our own needs and help those who are in need (Gal. 6:9-10). Let us encourage one another least one hardens their heart and turns from God (Heb. 3:13). Stimulate one another to love and do good deeds (Heb. 10:24). Let us take heart and follow examples of those who endure and encourage one another (Matt. 6:15). Let us follow our Lords and Job’s example (James 5:11). Let us ley aside worldly things that encumber us and let us run the race that is before us (Heb. 12:1).

Let us attend worship services (Heb. 10:25). Worship services is one of the most important ways that we can receive and give encouragement (Heb.10:25; Col. 3:16). How often we have come to worship tired and discourage only to leave lifted from our burdens and rejoicing.
We need to believe that God will never forsake us but He is our helper (Heb. 13:5-6). Let us be patient and strengthen our heart believing that the Lord will come and those who have endured will inherit the kingdom (James 5:7-8). Let us overcome the world (1 John 2:15-17) and its ways. Let us have love in our heart for God and one another (Matt. 22:36-40). It is the one who endures to the end that will be saved (Matt. 24:13)
