Don and Dannie Baker have requested that we pray for their daughter Dona Head. They are waiting for test results.
Kathy Hill received a good report from her last test.
Eddie Rolens is scheduled to have three surgeries between now and
end of July.
We need to keep Jennifer Cox in our prayers.
James and Florene Griffin, Jerry and Betty Harris, Don Hickerson, Billie Phillips, Billie Bradford, Betty Clark, Eddie Hickerson, Gary Hickerson, Dorothy Hodges, Bobbi King, Audrey McKin, Beryl Miller, Connor Quinn, Della Price, Brian Scott and Della Skerkis.

I FORGOT
I got up early one morning
and rushed right into the day,
I had so much to accomplish
That I didn’t take time to pray,
Problems just tumbled about me,
And heavier became each task.
“Why doesn’t God help me,” I wondered,
He answered, “You didn’t ask.”
I wanted to see joy and beauty
But the day toiled on gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn’t show me,
He said, “But you didn’t seek.”
I tried to come into God’s presence
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
“My child, you didn’t knock.”
I got up early this morning
and paused before entering the day.
I had so much to accomplish
that I had to take time to pray.
The sun was especially shiny
The sky was especially blue,
The clouds were all white and foamy,
I think I saw God peeking through.
I tried to behave as a child would,
When it’s mother is watching it play.
Cause, God had his eyes on me,
This morning I remembered to pray.
