Our Fall Gospel Meeting
Don’t forget about our Fall Gospel Meeting. It begins next Sunday, Oct 7th. Brother Randy Gray from the Shannon congregation will be doing the preaching. The theme of this year’s meeting is“Six Qualities Of God That Help Us To Know Him Better.” Sunday’s morning service will be followed by a meal at the house next door and evening services will be at 2:00 PM. All evening services Monday thru Wednesday are at 7:30. Please make plans to attend!
While our meeting is going on, I will be in Blue Springs, MO preaching a gospel meeting. Although I hate to be away during our gospel meeting, this is a great opportunity. I will be preaching on the“Truth About The Gospel”. Please pray for safe travel and an effective gospel meeting in both locations.

See You In BIBLE Class
We are engaged in two very interesting studies in out Bible Classes. On Wednesday evenings we are studying the book of 1 Kings and on Sunday morning the study is the book of Ezekiel. Both studies are challenging us to study and glean from the messages that God has delivered into our hands. It is very unfortunate that several of our members do not see the need to attend Bible class. If this applies to you, please consider the time that you could be spending with your brothers and sisters in Christ to develop a better knowledge and understanding of the things that God would have us know. Remember the words of the apostle Paul, “Study to show thyself approved…” (2 Tim 2:15) and the encouragement of Peter in 2 Pet 3:18, “Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” It is our desire to be with you and hope you will have that same desire to be with us. See you in Bible Class!
